240-Hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training

September 2026 – April 2027

A Return to What Is Real

At Art Rocks & Healing Yoga, yoga is not simply movement.

It is a responsibility.
A discipline.
A way of being.

This training is for those who feel that.

For those who are no longer satisfied with surface-level practice,
and are ready to step into something deeper —
more honest, more embodied, and more real.

This Is Not Mechanical Training

This is not about learning how to perform yoga.

It is a space where your lived experience matters.
Where your story is not something to overcome —
but something to understand.

Rooted in the teachings of Patanjali, this program honours the lineage of yoga while meeting the realities of the modern world.

We do not replicate the past.
We learn from it.

And we take responsibility for how it is carried forward.

What Has Changed

This year’s training reflects a deeper level of integration.

Over the past two years, the understanding of the body, the nervous system, and the lived experience of practice has reshaped how this program is taught.

This training now includes:

  • Soma and nervous system literacy
Understanding that transformation happens through regulation — not force

  • Embodied wisdom
Moving beyond knowledge into lived, integrated experience

  • Integrity as a foundation
No shortcuts. No performance. No bypassing

  • The ethics of teaching in a modern world
Including social media, influence, and responsibility

  • AI as a tool — not a teacher
Developing discernment in a world of constant information

This is not about adding more.

It is about refining what is real.

The Practice

Not all yoga is created equal.

In this training, you will be guided to:

  • Meet your body with awareness, not force

  • Understand the purpose behind each posture

  • Recognize patterns held within the nervous system

  • Build a sustainable, honest practice

The foundation is Ahimsa — non-harming.

From that place, everything else becomes possible.

What You Will Learn

This 240-hour training prepares you to teach Hatha Yoga with clarity and integrity, while deepening your own personal practice.

You will explore:

  • Asana, including modifications, adjustments, and contraindications

  • Functional anatomy and physiology

  • Nervous system regulation and somatic awareness

  • Teaching methodology and class design

  • The Eight Limbs of Yoga as a lived practice

  • Meditation, breathwork, and relaxation techniques

  • Subtle body awareness (chakras, bandhas, mudras)

  • Supporting students with diverse needs and lived experiences

Structure

This is a small, intentional container.

  • Limited to 6 students

  • One weekend per month

  • September 2026 – April  2027

  • In-person at Art Rocks & Healing Yoga Studio

This allows for depth, mentorship, and real connection.

Who This Is For

This training is for those who are ready to do the work.

Not just physically — but honestly.

It is for those who:

  • Are willing to look at themselves with clarity

  • Value depth over performance

  • Feel called to understand yoga beyond the surface

  • Are ready to engage in discipline, practice, and reflection

Experience is not required.

Willingness is.

The Commitment

There are no shortcuts here.

Transformation does not come from information alone.
It comes from practice, patience, and truth.

If you are looking for a quick certification, this is not that.

If you are ready to walk the path, you will be supported.

Application Process

Due to the intimate nature of this training:

  • Written application required

  • Short interview process

Acceptance is based on alignment and readiness.

Location

Closing

Yoga is not something we master.

It is something we return to — again and again —
with humility, awareness, and presence.

If you feel called, you are invited to apply.
