Audrey O Marra is a self-taught artist, she started painting as a hobby on rocks and has progressed to painting abstract images on Canvas. She enjoys the use of Vibrant colours. While she also paints animals and landscapes, many of her works are open to the interpretation of the viewer. She feels that one of the best things about being an artist is having a creation inspire people to think and feel something, even it is a negative reaction. It is her desire to stir the emotions of the viewer. While her painting styles cross over from Abstract to expressionism, on the occasion Realism, it is the abstract paintings that she most enjoys, mostly for the freedom of expression. Audrey's other passion is Yoga and Meditation, she is currently working towards a Certificate in Spiritual Lifestyle and Meditation Facilitator, which she plans to complete by the Spring of 2011 at which time she will be teaching others the art of Meditation. |
